There will be a beagle hunt at Pools puppy pen on the 31st of October, The proceeds from this hunt along with the Derby and All Age hunt that is being put on the same day for hounds will be donated to the American Cancer Society in memory of Fellow houndsmen Red Griffen. There will be an 18 inch +/- height limit. The format will be buddy judging, we will cast at day break on the 31st. There will be awards for the top thirty dogs. James Dryden will be handling the numbers you may reach him at 757-374-0316, no calls after 9 p.m. please. The entry fee will be 20 dollars per dog. We hope you can find time to come out and support a good cause while enjoying a sport we all dearly love.
