After the first 3 qualifying hunts, the top five hounds in the points race are:
1. Power Train Spider - Power Train Kennel (70 pts)
2. East Coast Lindsey - East Coast Kennel (62 pts)
3. Tyndall's Big Red - Ray Tyndall (54 pts)
4. Peebles Morgan - Brandon and Charles Peebles
(51 pts)
5. Croatans Christina - Croatan Kennel (40 pts)
It is a close race and it will come down to the champioship hunt.
The Championship hunt will be held August 29 @ K&T Fox Preserve. Any hound the has placed in the top 25 at any of the three qualifying hunts is qualified. There are a total of 50 hounds qualified for the championship hunt and the top five hounds will recieve a cash payback. There is already $925 in the pot so the payout should be over $1000. The payback will be as follows:
Points Champion - 17.5% plus points champion clock
