Well April 9th was a gread day for a field trial. Weather was just right , cool and lots of sunshine. 174 eager hounds and a pen full of smart coyotes.
We had 14 judges doing a top notch job. Thanks to all the judges that make it happen. Without you it would be nothing. Thanks Bill Holden for mastering the hunt and Tommy Carter for being the assistant master. The judges were as follows: Bill Holden, Brandon Strickland, Tommy Carter, Cecil Lee, James Benton, Jeff Clark, Eric Shipman, Bubba Willis, Johnny Fairfax, Joey Fowler, Donnie Fairfax, D.J. Ensor, David Ward, and Canon Ward.

Thanks Johnny Shaw for judging the Bench Show and thanks Joey Fowler for serving as ring master. Good job as always.
There are a lot of people to thank for all they do to put on a hunt. Brandon Strickland came in at 3:30am to help me start breakfast then served as a judge and Lisa McShane also helped with the cooking and serving of breakfast and lunch. She also took the pictures and posted them on face book and speed dogs. Thank you Lisa and Brandon. Jason Shields was also available to help me in any way he could and I called on him a lot. Thanks Jason.
I keep Hilda’s wagon full for about 3 days. Thank you Summer Prevatte for selling 50/50 tickets for a winner and for a sick child. Thank you hunters for all your donations. C&M added $174.00 ($1.00 per entry) and the winner of the Puppy Class(Never Nice Knls.) donated their winnings also. Thank you Mike.Lisa and Keenan McShane.
The fellowship was top notch. It is good to see everyone in a good mood and a good group of hunters having a good time. Hope all will be back soon.
