C&M 2 Class Puppy Hunt

Well I guess our short break is officially over at C&M. After the 2nd 2 class puppy hunt I think it is time to get back to our regular puppy/derby hunts. Our pen has been restocked and game is looking good. Starting March 12th we will start back with our regular hunts. This past hunt may have been short in entries but not short in running as the scores proved.
I want to thank all the judges for their continued support and dedication and they were as follows: Bill Holden:Master of Hounds, Jason Prevatte, David Ward, D.J. Enzor, Brandon Strickland, Scott Harvey, Jason Shields, Cecil Lee, James Benton, Duck Britt, Tommy Carter and Johnny Shaw. Thanks guys for doing a great job.
Starting in the kitchen at 4:00am were Brandon Strickland and Lisa McShane, helping me get the breakfast up and going, coffee on and grits simmering. After breakfast Brandon continued to the field to judge and Lisa looked after lunch while I helped pick up scores, took the judges their snacks and helped with game patrol. My son David also helped with game patrol and his grandson DJ assisted him and is learning the ropes of judging. I love to see the young generation getting involved in the sport.
I want to thank Terrie Holden for helping Hilda take entries and for posting scores and doing a great job.
Lisa McShane took the pictures and will post them for us on Face Book and Speed Dogs. Thanks, Lisa.
Thank you Johnny Shaw for Judging the Bench Show and Jason Prevatte for assisting as Ring Master. Good job guys.
Thanks again to the feed companies for your support with our hunts. These are Mike Carr with Pride, Randy McGovern with Show Time, Ronnie Mace with Value Pak and Buddy Boy from Gurganus Milling Co.
Our crowd was smaller than unual but their hearts were not. Phil Dawson was our 50/50 winner and donated the full amount he received back to give to a family with a child with medical problems. Thank you so much Phil and if anyone knows of a family with a child with medical problems please let us know and we will try to help.
Congratulations to our winners in both classes and we look forward to seeing all of you again soon.
