We had a good hunt today with much needed cooler temps. The weather was overcast all morning but no rain until the hunt was completely over. We were truly blessed. We also had some good running for the entire 4 hours with not a single dog getting scratched.
We had some new faces today and were glad they came and hope they will come back. Some were from Virginia, Ashville, Charlotte and other places. We appreciate you all coming so far to visit our pen. Hope you had a good time. We have a lot of people to thank that support the hunts at C&M. The hunters and judges and everyone who gives a helping hand when it is needed. Today we had Bill Holden serving as Master of Hounds and as always he did a great job. Joey Fowler served as our Bench Show Judge and Zander Holden was his assistant as ring master. Thank you both for doing a super job.
The judges all did a great job as always and were : Bill Holden, Zander Holden, Brian Daniel, Duck Britt, Joey Fowler, Cecil Lee, James Benton, Chick Benton, Charles McPherson, Brad Thomas, and John McPherson. Thank you guys for your hard work and loyalty. I know you could be doing other things on Saturdays.
Many thanks to Cari Hayes for finding the time to help us. You make things happen. Posting scores and selling 50/50 tickets seem so easy for you. This last month we were able to donate $500.00 from our 50/50 fund to Waylon Benton’s family. Waylon is a 2 yr old that just had his 2nd am****tion caused from a disease that he has. Please pray for Waylon and his parents, Amber and Franklin Benton from Clarkton, N.C.
Lisa McShane took time away from her business to help out today. She stayed busy cooking and taking pictures and will post them for us. Thank you Lisa for all your help.
A big thank you to Mike Carr with Pride and Randy McGovern and Moose Jower with Showtime, Ronnie Mace with Value-Pac, Hollybucks Dog Supplies , and Gurganus Feeds with Buddy Boy. I want you hunters to support these companies when you can.
