C&M Puppy and Derby Results

What a great day for a field trial. We had 137 hounds and I don’t know which were more excited, the hounds or the hunters. I want to thank the Master of Hounds Bill Holden for doing a great job and also his judges that also did great. They were as follows: Bill Holden, Cecil Lee, Zander Holden. Chick Benton, James Benton, Brad Thomas, Cody Watts, Eddie Brinson, Ronald Watts, Duck Britt, Preston Watts, Tommy Murray, Jamie Elliott, Tim Housand and Dwight Little. Thank all of you for your hard work and dedication. Dwight Little also served as Bench Show Judge and Ronald Watts served as Ring Master. Thank you guys, job well done and I really appreciate your help.
Everything seemed to go very smooth and we were finished and ready to go home by l:30. I can give this credit to my helpers. Cari Hayes kept everything posted current and also sold 50/50 tickets. Half of the tickets solds went to the winner of the drawing and the other half was donated to the Family of Madalyn Grey Price. Madalyn is the l year old daughter of Raven and Zachary Price. She has Cystic Fibrosis and is currently hospitalized in Chapel Hill. This admittance was due to her having bronchitis, pneumonia and MRSA in both lungs. She has currently been in Chapel Hill for about 2 weeks this go around. We were able to donate $473.00 to her family . I want to thank all those who bought tickets for this very worthwhile need.
Others who help me so much are of course my wife Hilda and Lisa McShane who was feeling better and came to help in the Kitchen, take pictures and post results on facebook.
Again I want to thank Mike Carr with Pride and Randy McGouvern with ShowTime for all their support.
Congratulations to all the winners and hope to see you all back for our June 8th Puppy & Derby.
