C&M Fox Preserve
Puppy & Derby Speed & Drive Hunt

Well C&M had a good start this New Year 2019. We were blessed to have all the ingredients for a good
Hunt. We had plenty of hounds, good hunters, and good running game and the Good Lord gave us a nice day to enjoy and plenty of food to eat. I want to thank the hunters for being supper nice and taking care of the pen and roads and doing a quick job of getting the hounds caught up. Thanks to the judges for giving their time to come and brave the cold weather and doing a great job. Thank you Tommy Carter for serving as Master of Hounds for the hunt and thank you Kevin Howell for serving as Assistant Master. Job very well done by both of you. Thank you Johnny Shaw for serving as Bench Show Judge and thank you Dwight Little for serving as Ring Master . Both did a great job along with our other Judges which were: Tommy Carter (MH), Kevin Howell(asst. MH), Jason Benton, Carson Strickland, Dwight Little, Bill Holden, Zander Holden, Duck Britt, James Benton, Julian Lee, Brad Thomas, and Jay Trotter. A big thanks to Cari Hayes for entering scores and selling 50/50 tickets for the NCWPA and for helping Hilda take entries. Another big thank you goes to Lisa McShane and Preston Watts for helping prepare breakfast and lunch and for Lisa taking the pictures and posting them and all the web posting and for washing all those dishes.
Thank you to my wife Hilda for helping Cari and for baking cakes and cobblers and making tea and entering hounds early in the morning .
Thank you Junior Jones for doing game patrol . Job well done. Thanks to Mike Carr with Pride Dog Feed Co. and Randy McGovern with Show Time Feeds for all their support and keeping us a top notch feed.
Thanks to all the hunters and I hope to see all of you at the next Puppy and Derby on Feb. 9th.
