C&M Fox Preserve
Puppy and Derby Speed and Drive Hunt

The speed and drive hunt on Saturday the 14th was great. The weather was nice and the running was great as you can see from the scores. It was good to see a lot of kids playing and having a good time. We did not scratch any of them for loafing. They were wide open all day . All the hounds were is good shape also. When it started to get a little hot they just kept on moving. We got to meet some hunters that were new to our facility and they seem to have had a good time. I hope they will come join us again soon and bring their friends. I want to thank Master of Hounds Tommy Carter for again doing a great job. Also Tommy Murray our Bench Show Judge and Jason Benton our Ring Master for also doing a great job. We had 16 judges who worked hard to make sure that the hounds were scored as they should be. This is a very difficult job and the judges should be very proud when these scores are posted. If you have ever judged a field trial you know how hard it is. I really appreciate all those who helped and they were as follows: Tommy Carter, Mark King, Chick Benton, Cecil Lee, James Benton, Jason Benton, Julian Lee, Chris Cheers, Jimmy Tharp, Duck Britt, David Todd, Cade Watts, Tommy Murray, Bill Holden, Zander Holden and Brad Thomas, and I also really appreciate Cari Hayes who posted all those scores and sold raffle tickets and my wife Hilda for helping in all departments. washing dishes, ect. Another assistant was Preston Watts who helped me in the kitchen with the cooking and selling plates and cleaning up after the hunt. Cade Watts also assisted . Thank you guys so much. Thanks also to Lisa McShane for continuing to help with the posting of the pictures. We really miss you Lisa and hope your have a good summer and will be back in a few months. Please continue to support Mike Carr with Pride and Randy McGovern with Showtime as they continue to help support our hunts, we really appreciate them.
Our next hunt will be C&M 2 Day Derby on July 27th and 28th. Numbers are being booked now from 7:30 to 9:30 nightly . If you have already got your numbers and know that you cannot come I ask that you please turn the numbers back in . Thank you and I hope to see you at this 2 day hunt. Results as follows:
