C&M Puppy and Derby 3/10/18

Great day for a field trial. Weather was great, fellowship was great and running was even better. Our 149 hounds had a good time and I hope the hunters had a good time watching them do what they do best. I really appreciate all of the hunters for coming and hope you will come back again. Another group of people that I really appreciate are our judges. It takes a lot of commitment and love of the sport to get here that early and work so hard for the 4 hours running and then tally up in the judges room, thank you. Serving as Master of Hounds was Lonnie Ward and Bench Show Judge was Dwight Little. Dwight’s assistant as Ring Master was a new trainee, young Zander Holden, who has been judging for a few years now. Both of these did a great job and I thank you. Our judges were: James Benton, Julin Lee, Cecil Lee, Check Benton, Bill Holden, Zander Holden, Grant Hoff, Brad Thomas, Dwight Little, Curt Arnette and Duck Britt. Again thank you guys for a great job. I also want to thank Preston Watts for a great job on game patrol . I hope you all sponsor our feed companies who continue to support our hunts. They are Mike Carr with Pride Dog Feed and Randy McGovern with Show Time Feed. Thank you both for your support. Last but not least is our ladies in the club house. Cari Hayes posted all of those scores and also sold 50/50 tickets doing a fabulous job at both. Lisa McShane helped prepare and sell meals along with taking the pictures and posting them on speeddogs and C&M facebook . Thanks Lisa, you always do a great job.
Congratulations to all the winners and to all who placed. Our next hunt will be Saturday, April 14th. . Hope to see you then. PS: I am sorry about forgetting the ribbons for the Bench Show. They are now in the club house at the pen if anyone wants to pick theirs up.
