The first of two qualifying hunts is in the books with half of the field identified for the championship hunt. This was one tough hunt with a lot of great hounds and houndsmen there trying to stake their chance to run for the money. We had a great group of judges that hustled all morning and the final results showed with high and close competitive scores. The top two hounds were only separated by 20 points. Congrats to G&S Kennels for winning today's hunt with a hound named Lightning. Remember there is still time to qualify for the championship as there is still one more qualifying hunt in order to get your hound in. The results are as follows:
