C&M Fox Preserve
Puppy & Derby Hunt

On August 12th we had a puppy and derby hunt at C&M Fox Preserve in Chadbourn, N.C. It was good to see a lot of kids playing and having a good time. We did not scratch any of them for loafing. They were wide open all day long. All the hounds were in good shape also. When it got hot they kept on moving. We got to meet some hunters who came to C&M for the first time . I hope they enjoyed the hunt and will come back again. I want to thank Tommy Carter for mastering the hunt and Joey Fowler for assistant master and Dwight little for judging the Bench Show and Robbie Legette for serving as Ring Master. All the judges did a great job and I want to thank each and every one. They were as follows: Tommy Carter, Master of Hounds, Joey Fowler, Zander Holden, Curt Arnette, Bill Holden, Robbie Legette, Tommy Murray, Jeff Clark, Cade Watts, Brad Turbeville, James Benton, Dwight Little and Duck Britt. I want to thank my wife Hilda again for entering the scores and Sandy Enzor for helping in the kitchen and taking up meal money. The hunters and kids made it a fun day. The hunters are always willing to help out in any way they can. Thanks! I want to again thank Mike Carr with Pride and Randy McGovern with Show Time for helping support our hunts. I really appreciate all you do. Our next hunt will be on September 9th and I hope all of you can make it back and bring a friend. Thanks everyone, happy hunting and hope to see all of you soon.
