Puppy & Derby 5/13/17

We had a good turn out Saturday with 150 hounds entered. The weather was good considering Mr. Weatherman forcast heavy rain and thunder storms. We were lucky we did not get either. All my helpers did a great job starting with our Master of Hounds Coy Norris. Thank you Coy . You did a great job with everything except maybe fixing the printer that was giving such a problem. I think the best thing we can do with that one is drop it on the floor. I promise it will be fixed or we will have a new one by next time. Thank you for a job well done and also thanks to all our judges who came out even when they thought the weather was going to be terrible. They all worked real hard and got lots of scores. They were as follows: Bill Holden, Cody Watts, Preston Watts, Zander Holden, Coy Norris, Duck Britt, Matthew Hammond, Will Slaugenhoup, Bradley Rivenbark, Curt Arnette, & Dwight Little. We had quite a group of kids and they seemed to really enjoy the day. Lots of running and laughing and that is what makes a good day better. I want to thank my wife Hilda for posting scores and Cari for assisting Hilda and selling 50/50 tickets . I want to also thank Lisa for taking pictures and posting them and helping with the cooking and taking up meal money.Thanks also to Mike Carr with Pride Dog Feed and Randy McGovern with Show Time for their support of our hunt. Both of these are excellent feeds and I hope you hunters will also support these companies. Most of all I want to thank the hunters for showing such good sportsmanship. A field trial can be such a pleasant experience for the whole family when everyone respects each other. Thank you also for helping keep the pen clean. Our next hunt will be June 10th. Hope you will come back and bring a friend. Congratulations to all the winners.
