C&M Puppy & Derby

September 10th was a good day for our puppy & derby at C&M. The running was as strong as any hunt we have had in 2016. We had a good strong group of hounds as always. It was good to have some lst time hunters join us at C&M. They came a long way and I hope they enjoyed the hunt. I know some did because they got their name called . We had a fine bunch of kid’s that behaved very well and knew how to have a good time. We had some first time fielders and they still dancing. Hunting season is on top of us so we will not have anymore puppy & derby hunts this year. I can’t thank the people that helped me so much this year enough. Having these people that are dependable makes putting on a hunt enjoyable. Thanks to all the Masters, Bench Show Judges & Ring Masters and all the judges that are here rain or shine , cold or hot and give their very best. Thanks to Mike Carr with Pride Feed Company and Randy McGovern with Show Time Feed Company for their support in 2016. I thank all the other helpers that took pictures, carried feed, game patrol and computer helpers. We have had some great team help and I hope all of you can help me in the future. Today Coy Norris served as Master of Hounds and did a great job as usual. Dwight Little did the Bench Show and was assisted by Michael Bianchine as Ring Master. Thanks guys for doing a great job. Our field judges were as follows: Coy Norris, Cecil Lee, James Benton, Dwayne Enzor, Carson Strickland, Bill Holden, Curt Arnette, Duck Britt, Cody Watts, Cade Watts, Michael Bianchine, Preston Watts, & Dwight Little. Thanks you all so much. It was good to have my wife Hilda back helping too. She wants me to think she don’t like it but I know better. Thanks Linda Bryant for helping in the kitchen and helping Hilda with the scores. I also had two fine young ladies helping in the kitchen cleaning up . Brianna Batton and her cousin Hope helped me with anything I needed. They sold tickets for the 50/50 raffle for the NCWPA and collected money from breakfast and lunch. and helped run errands for me. Thank you for all your help.
