C&M Puppy & Derby S&D Hunt

Boy it is good to see the sun shining again. On Saturday it rained all day and it was a very messy day for a hunt. All said and done it was a good hunt anyway. The hounds ran hard for the 4 hours and some didn’t want to stop until late in the day. The judges and hunters all made the best of a wet soggy day. At least it was not cold. Many thanks to everyone.
Thank you Tommy Carter for Mastering the hunt and thank you Lamar Blalock for coming down and judging the bench show and thank you Zach Smith for being the Ring Master. All of you did a great job, Thanks.
Thanks to all the judges for an outstanding job. Thanks for showing up. It would have been a perfect day to go shopping. Judges were as follows: Tommy Carter, Chase Carter, Cecil Lee, James Benton, Curt Arnette, Kevin Howell, Coy Norris, Bill Holden, Jason Littles, Eddie Allnut, Gene Larrimore, Butch Howell, Lamar Blalock, Zach Smith, Bubba Willia, Austin Benton , and Justin Benton.
Thanks to Mike Carr with Pride and Randy McGovern with Showtime for their support with feed. A special thanks to Hilda for getting up early and taking entries and helping with the scores and thank you Dallas Hewett for entering scores. Thank you Lisa McShane for helping prepare the meals and washing those big pots and for taking the pictures and getting them on facebook and speed dogs. I know I am not the only one who thanks you for that. Thank you Linda Batten for helping get the hunters and judges fed on time. We could not put on a hunt without our friends helping us. Congratulations to all the winners and I hope everyone can come back on April 11th for our next puppy & derby hunt.
