The Virginia Outside Beagle Association (VOBA) is coming to the Sandbanks.
The Gates County Hunt Club "Sandbanks", in Gates Co., NC, will be hosting a VOBA hunt on February 7th, 2015. It is a 4 hour, 2 class speed & drive hunt, males and females, with trophies awarded to the top 15 in each class. There is an 18" height limit. Entry fee is $15 per dog with an optional $5 side bet. Registration begins at 5:30 at Hall Ruritan Club, 99 Tinkham Rd, Eure, NC, 27935. Cast at 7:30. To get numbers, call Bert Davis a (804)248-3441. The Hall Ruritans will be serving breakfast and lunch, and there will be raffles as well!
We are located near the intersection of 13 and 158, behind Tarheel Bar-B-Q, all the way to the Chowan River. We have 60 members, who cannot enter hounds, but are mandatory to judge. Come out and have fun!
