C&M Puppy & Derby 9/13/14

The Great Rain Maker was looking out for us at C&M again this week. Thank you Lord for a good day. The rain held off
until we were finished with the pictures. We had a good turn out with 37 puppies and 47 derby hounds. It was not quite as hot as it has been and the hounds took advantage of it. Running was as good as it gets. We had a new hunter that came all the way from Michigan, Neil Olds. He came down with Chubby Paul and we were happy to have both of them. Hope to see you fellows back soon. I want to thank Kevin Howell for mastering the hunt. This young man could handle any major hunt. Thank you Dwight Little for being the Bench Show judge and again doing a fine job. He had some nice looking hounds to choose from. Thank you Butch Howell for being the Ring Master. We are blessed to have such a dependable group of judges.
With all the talk about rain everyone that had committed were present Saturday. Thanks fellows and they were as follows:
Kevin Howell, Dwight Little, Tommy Murray, Trevor Norris, Cody Watts, Dakota Holden, Bill Holden, Preston Watts, Craig Shingleton, Charles Southerland, Cade Watts, Gene Larrimore, Curt Arnette and Butch Howell. Hilda and Irene did a good job as always and got us finished up ahead of the rain. I want to thank Lisa McShane for coming and helping cook breakfast and lunch and for taking pictures. That’s a wagon load. Thank you Gregg for being on call . When I called I bet you thought I was babbling. Thank you Mike Carr with Pride and Randy McGovern with Show Time for not only helping us but having a high quality feed for our hounds. Thank you hunters for always showing such good sportsmanship. Hope all of you will be back on Oct. 11th for our next puppy & derby hunt. Congratulations to all the winners.

congrats to who all placed, there was some very nice hounds. couldn't ask for better running, awesome food, very nice people and the pen was top notch. I would come back again for more hunts in the future.

1st puppy bonds Titus & Shake n bake palin. Congrats to chad stroud on his win and to all that place & c&m for what they do, food,pics,the judges,the running it's always a we'll put together hunt.

Yes sir enjoyed the hunt couldn't ask for better weather conditions .big congratulations to ole stroud that nice hound lock and Congrads to Jason keep up good work .

Want to thank everyone on the congrats,and also want to congradulate SHAKE-N-BAKE on there win.I did not get a chance to go but i have heard that the running was great as normal.Want to tell MR.LONNIE WARD that as a hunter and for speaking for all the hunters we apperciate all that he does for the sport.Congrates to all that placed and hope yall have happy hunting!!!
