OLD DOMINION FHA held a five hour, two-class speed and drive field trial on July 12, 2014 at Poole’s Foxhound Training Preserve.

I also want to thank the folks at Poole’s for their accommodations. We send our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Morris and Poole families for their loss. Mrs. Beverly Morris was a sweet lady and will be greatly missed.

This was one of the best field trials we have ever held, with EXTREMELY STRONG FOX RUNNING FOR ALL 5 HOURS. It was a roar from the time we turned out until the hunt was called. We had 192 entries, with 109 derby hounds and 83 all age hounds. In the derby, it took 210 to get in the top twenty, and 380 to win. In the all age, it took 215 to get in the top twenty, and 450 to win. The top 10 for each class are below:
