The North Carolina Concerned Sportsman Association had a hunt today Triple B Fox Preserve in Wallace NC. The weather was beautiful, the breakfast was great, but most of all the turnout was fabulous. We had 144 hounds entered in the one class speed and drive hunt. There were folks there from all over North Carolina and one made the trip from Virginia. We would like to thank ALL of those who came out and showed their support today. We would like to thank the 22 judges today who recorded over 60,000 points in crossing and Jessica for entering the scores and having the final sheets ready in less than an hour after the hunt was over. A special thanks out to the Bond's for having the pen in great shape which produced some outstanding running.
It took 700 points to get in 20th place and 1025 point to win.

We will be having our fall hunt on September 20, 2014 at Old 74 Fox Preserve in Hallsboro NC. This will be a 2 class speed and drive hunt and will count toward Test of the Best points for 2014. Numbers will begin toward the end of August. More information will be posted later.

WE (BRANDON CRAVER AND I) OWN CRAVER'S HOOKER AND HAVE RAISED HER FROM BIRTH. SHE IS A FINE HOUND AND ONE OF THE BEST HOUNDS WE HAVE EVER OWNED. DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ON HER AS YOU WILL SEE SHE HAS AN OVER THE TOP FIELD TRIAL HISTORY AND IF YOU SAW HER RUN YOU WOULD KNOW WHY. WITH THAT BEING SAID FOR ALL WHO QUESTION HER WIN AT THE CONCERNED SPORTSMAN YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE NCCSA AND TALK TO THEM AS THEY ALL WILL TELL YOU SHE RIGHTFULLY WON THIS HUNT. THIS POST WAS STARTED BY SOMEONE (A FELLOW FIELD TRIALER) WHO USED A FAKE NAME TO START DRAMA AND IT IS A SHAME THAT SOME PEOPLE HAVE BECOME SO COMPETITIVE AND CHILDISH THAT THEY WOULD RESORT TO THIS. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE RESPONDED AND TOOK CARE OF THIS SITUATION. YES OUR DOG WON THE HUNT AND WE WERE OUT OF TOWN AND DIDN'T EVEN GET TO ACCEPT HER HARD EARNED TROPHY FOR HER BUT IT IS PROUDLY SITTING AT OUR HOUSE NOW!!!
