C&M Puppy and Derby Hunt 5/10/14

We had a good turn out Saturday with 102 hounds entered. The weather was good. Could have been better if we had had a little rain to lay the dust . All my helpers did a great job starting with our Master of Hounds, Kevin Howell. Thanks Kevin and thank you to all the judges which were as follows: Dwight Little, Johnny Howell, Chase Carter, Ronnie Barber, Craig Shingleton, Tommy Carter, Jay Child, Austin Benton, Hunter Cartrette, Tommy Murray, Gene Larrimore , Dwight Little, and Curt Arnette. Also thank you Dwight Little for doing a great job as Bench Show Judge and also to Austin Benton for serving as Ring Master. We had a good group of kids and they seemed to enjoy the day. Lots of running and laughing and that is what makes a good day better. I want to thank my wife Hilda and Irene Howell for entering scores and Lisa McShane for helping with the cooking,cleaning , pictures, ect. I really depend on these ladies. I also want to thank Mike Carr with Pride Dog Feed and Randy McGovern with Show Time for their contributions. I really appreciate it. Most of all I want to thank the hunters for showing such good sportsmanship. A field trial can be such a pleasant experience for the whole family when everyone respects each other. Thank you also for helping keep the pen clean. Our next hunt will be June 14th. Hope you will come back and bring a friend. Congratulations to all the winners.
