C&M Puppy and Derby Hunt 4/12/14

Well Saturday April 12th was a good day for a field trial. .First one we had this year that was not wet and cold. It was good to see everyone standing in the sun and fellowshipping. We had some new hunters drive over 3 hours to get here and I hope they enjoyed it. We had a very good class of hounds from all around and I got to see some hunters I have not talked to in a while. Wish that I had had time to hang out and talk to everyone more., but there is a lot of things got to be done in a hurry at a field trial. I want to thank Tommy Carter for Mastering our hunt and thank Dwight Little for Judging the Bench Show and Brad Howell for serving as Ring Master. A big thanks to all the judges and they were as follows: Tommy Carter, Butch Howell, Dwight Little, Bunky Williams, Canon Ward, Hunter Cartrette, Kevin Howell, Curt Arnette, Dianna Larrimore, Gene Larrimore, Graig Shingleton, Brad Howell and Dallas Hewett When you see these people at a hunt or anytime please thank them for their time and love of the sport also. Everything went smooth in the judges room . Hilda and Irene did a good job of entering scores and Lisa had her hands full helping me cook breakfast and dinner. Ton of stuff to wash and clean. Hope everyone enjoyed the meals. We had a big group of kids and they really make a good hunt because they can keep things going on. I want to thank Mike Carr with Pride Dog Feed for their support and Randy McGovern with Show Time. We really appreciate what they do. I thank all the hunters that support C&M Fox Preserve. You make it all worth while. Come back on May 10th for our next puppy and derby and bring a friend and the kids and we will do the best we can to do our part.
