Green Swamp Hunting Club held our second annual 2 class speed and drive field trial at Old 74 Fox Preserve on January 19, 2013. We would like to thank each of the hunters who attended this hunt and made it such a great hunt. Thanks to the King family for letting us use your fine facility. Neil has the pen stocked with PLENTY of game that is well conditioned for 5 hours of wall to wall running. We would like to thank Tommy Carter for being Master of Hounds and Irene Liu for running the computer program. Both of these individuals worked very hard to produce the results of the hunt in a timely matter. We held a 50/50 raffle and raised $230 to be donated to the Fox Pen Association with the help of all the hunters and judges. The judges were as follows: Tommy Carter(MOH), Chase Carter, Jason Prevatte, Bryan Britt, Carson Scott, Adam Howell, Johnny Howell, Grant Johnson, Terry Britt, Austin Britt, Jason Rogers, Ellis Johnson, Kevin Howell, Brad Howell, Joey Faulk, Garrison Britt, Jay Locklear, and Shane Barnhill. These judges worked hard for 5 hours and the scores reflected it. We had a total of 161 hounds with 70 Derby and 91 All Age. Congratulations to High Cotton Kennels on winning the Derby Class and to TJ Wilson for winning the All Age Class. Results are as follows:
