Have spent this evening hanging out my laundry. It's all go here, I'll tell you that for nowt. And I'm listening to most of the songs submittted so far.

In between shirts, pants and socks it seems to me that Eastern Europe has got a bit complacent in that all the ones I like so far are from Western Europe; Finland, Norway, Iceland, Portugal, Malta and best of all Switzerland are all on my fave list. Even the Danish one would be nice if he could actually sing it.

Do we dare hope for a victory for a victory from a country that is actually older than any of us?

I do agree with you Tim, there are some crackers from the West this year - I would also include Cyprus in that little lot (and lets face it, there's oodles of time left for singing lessons before May, isn't there?!)
