Re: Looking for People who Grew Up in G-Town and Moved in the 60's and 70's

HI ANN MARIE,

I LIVED AT GREENE & LOGAN STS. MY UNCLE WAS THE PARISH (ST. FRANCIS) FUNERAL DIRECTOR. I LIVED WITH MY GRANDMOTHER NEXT DOOR. IT WAS THE GILLESPIE FUNERAL HOME RIGHT AT THE CORNER. I MOVED FROM THERE APPROX. 1964 AND MOVED AROUND A LITTLE BIT WITH MY PARENTS. I CAME BACK TO GERMANTOWN EVERY SUMMER AND HUNG OUT WITH FRIENDS. I MOVED BACK IN 1969 AND GRADUATED FROM LITTLE FLOWER HIGH SCHOOL IN 1970.
GOT MARRIED AND LIVED IN GERMANTOWN UNTIL APPROX. 1978. I RETIRED FROM THE PHONE COMPANY IN 2003 AND MOVED TO BRADENTON FL. I LOVE IT HERE BUT I STILL MISS PHILLY AND TRY TO VISIT AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR.
GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU.

MARIE MCANALLY POWLESS

Hi Ray, this is Ginny Tutro Bollard. I lived at 62 E. Garfield from 1951 to 1963 when I got married to another Germantowner, Don Bollard. I love getting together from friends from Germantown and I am planning to go to the reunion as well at the Doo *** the following day.
