Re: Brickyard Re-union

Ray,

I left by the 6th grade (1957) as my parents move to NE Philly and i transferred to Maternity BVM.

By the way Joe Kehan & his wife stopped in for dinner a couple of days ago.

They are the 3rd couple from the Brickyard that stopped by within the last 2 weeks.

Re: Brickyard Re-union

Ed, nice of you to invite everyone to your Sports bar, but it a little too far from St. Francis. Continental Post is less than a mile away. Maybe a reunion there in the future would be good for everyone.

Re: Brickyard Re-union

Yes, it is a little bit of a ride but I was thinking of the 250 car parking, outdoor deck and restaurant food. I would have gotten a DJ at noon to play oldies and back in the day music.

Every Sunday I have the DJ doing that from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in case you want to come on a different Sunday.

I will be there if you guys change you mind.

Re: Brickyard Re-union

Ed, is your restaurant a BYOB? Looking for a new place to have dinner with some friends from Germantown. Thank you.

Re: Brickyard Re-union

No, it's not a BYOB restaurant. We have many different whiskey's, wines and 16 types of draft beer. Great menu, fancy drinks and 36 tv's with one 144''. The Inquirer wrote on us last year and I have many great people coming in for dinner such as Steve Coates (Comcast Flyers Commentator, Don Tollefson, David Oh (Councilman at Large), Patrick Murphy (Ex Congressman) and many Police, Fire, Military and Union representatives to name a few.

My partner & I are NE Philly guys for most of our lives and we are stand up down to earth people.

I would love to meet all the Brickyard people and share a drink or two.

Website - www.katieos.com.

Thanks for inquiring about my place.
