It's not necessarily that you are giving in to European standards, it's that you are permanantly altering the hair texture that God gave you. And you are right, God created black people in diversity, so why wouldn't you want to celebrate that diversity?

there are HARMFUL chemicals be'n placed
on the hair and scalp to MAKE it straight..

this has none'n ta do with natural
straight hair regarding blacks....
