transfer rumours continued...

The other thread got full of nonsense so i decided to start a new one just for a transfers!

Real Madrid and Chelsea look set to lose out over Javier Mascherano and he is off to Corinthians, or so says Sky Sports.

Both the English and Spanish colossuses had Mascherano high on their list of summer of transfer targets, but now Corinthians - backed by sports investment company MSI - look to have pulled of another major coup in the transfer market.

Like Chelsea and Real, Corinthians had been chasing Mascherano for a number of months - but it seemed likely the River Plate starlet would head to Europe rather than switch countries in his native South America.

However, MSI have now confirmed that they have won the race to land a player regarded by many as the best young midfielder in the world.

"Mascherano is under contract," declared MSI director Paulo Angioni to Gazeta Esportiva.

and according to Tribalfootball.com, Andreas D'alessandro is subject to a loan bid by Tottenham!

Re: transfer rumours continued...

Well, Javier Mascherano is a hot cake. He is wanted by some of prestigious clubs like Real Madrid. Corinthians is an old rumour. It's not that real are stolen by corinthians but actually corinthians were the first who were rimoured to be el jefecito's next destination. Old readers here would remember my posted news item about his and lucho's contract with msi. msi contracted the top 3 of south american players awarded as no 1, 2 & 3 in december last year. Apache, Lucho and el jefecito. Apache joined corinthians immediately and it was widely presumed mascherano will join apache in june + river didn't want him leaving before playing in copa lib. so it was all assumed but lucho's move to porto indicated rumour that the pair broke the contracts with msi so one has joined porto already and other is gonna joing real madrid soo. Lucho contract is a done deal now. MSI offered el jefecito yet again and the money is huge so it is thought that msi will get him from river and send him to either corinthians or perhaps roman ibramovich will get him (remeber the msi is all russian money and it was rumoured that roman ibramovic actually own the company). So its hoting up atm but nothing is sure atm. except that he will leave river for either europe or to neighbour country club which is under influence of russian money.

As a river fan for life i tell you el jefecito is going (not sure) but we aren't going to see him in el monumental games in opening season 05. all fans will miss the darling but as we say here, "Buena Suerte !!! y GRACIAS EL JEFECITO !

You mean this thread will only contain "news items" and "no discussions" on those news items involving all the scenerio behind those transfer news rumours (which are atm nothing more than rumours)?

I precive various guys posting their views on these transfer 'rumours' are based on their ways of recieving the news items. some would oppose through their views, some will agree. some will discuss coches, money, reasons behind these transfers and many other scenarios. we as a forum family come here just for that, to share our views on Gabriel in particular and football in general. I, as a regular poster here see no harm in discussing all the news transfers posted in 'original thread'. There was no 'non sense' in the initial thread. All chaps contributed their way and no it was no non sense.

YES, there were precpectives of different chaps on different scenarios. e.g, crespo is finished ? [martyn], no he is the best striker in the world since batigol! [trulli], hey comeon don't be biased [juventino], josé mourinho is a legend! [ryan], no he is just good not a legend [juan], hey it's language barriers! [katy], all is fine by me [juan], ....... and comes more news, more rumours, .... meaning no more arguements (those arguements weren't waste of time in first place itself) so when there is no debate of different opiinons at present why need 'fresh' and that to with a message "JUST for transfers" .... no discussions. full stop.

the bottom line is may be those arguements were not worth time for every one but i promise there wasn't anything "NON SENSE" about it. When we discuss a news item, various arguements will come and thats why the forum is for. Otherwise everyone (well most of them rather) know through websites or TV channels or news papers all the rumours. discussions, informations from others, knowledge from others and prescpectives of others is the appetite here, so that guys can understand various scenarios more.

anyway, have a good time there in england

Re: transfer rumours continued...

Thankyou Juan, and i hope Argentina is treating you well.

Yes you are right; the debate should be encouraged not hindered. So, i fully retract my statement!

This news is indeed an old rumour, but according to this report, Mascherano is off to Corinthians for sure. MSI of course have close links to Abromovich, so he could play for a year for Corinthians then go off to Chelsea. At least real madrid didn't get him!

Re: transfer rumours continued...

what a waste.
it is really frustrating to see such a talent wasted in BRAZIL. Why can't he learn, can't he see what is happening to Tevez. OHHHHHHHHH. Really frustrating.
