Liverpool wanted to sign Batistuta

Roy Evans wanted to sign Batistuta & pair him up with Robbie Fowler !
That could have become one of the most prolific striking forces that the world have ever seen.

You dont say. Not being a big fan of Liverpool I'm kind of glad it didn't happen, but it's always nice to be reminded that Bati was in high demand.

Linda. I believe this is Batistuta forum not club forum. My opinion was based on Batistuta & possible partnership with other striker. Should I care you are a fan of Liverpool or Man Utd or or Arsenal etc ? may be it is best to keep club spirit away from here.
