We found out about Phils tour on the cruise critic website. Previous tour takers had great things to say about Phil so we thought we would try him. We booked the tour on the internet about 5 months ahead of time. Phil got right back to us and answered all our questions. We were excited to try a local tour guide on our own to avoid the cruise ship tours due to the crowds. When we arrived we were greeted right away at the cruise ship dock by a very hospitable, friendly and trustworthy Phil! We were on the tour with another family who also had children. Phil was so entertaining, knowledgable and engaging. He toured us around various local spots,a garden, shopping and even a stopped to watch a man doing fire tricks. The whole while each person in our tour received a nickname(Puzzled Paul, Jammin Julie, Jamaican Jack & Bad Brad) and the kids enjoyed listening to this and of course Phil remembered everyones name. Tubing was a blast and really enjoyed the scenery and the locals helping us down the river safely. Dunn River falls was beautiful, we didn't climb the falls but it was still nice to see.
Phil kept all of our belonging in the van and insured us they would be safe which they were. All in all we had a great time and Jamaica was one of our more memorable stops! Thanks again Phil! Take Care Mon!!
