I am visiting Kohima in late April 2012. 68 years on... I will obviously be visiting the war memorial on the site of the tennis court. I will be laying a spray of poppies, as obtained from British Legion.
If anyone would like any names included on the card, in memory of anyone who fought in the Kohima battle (or anywhere else in Burma) can they please let me know.
I am from the lucky generation born after the second world war, and we have been spared so much, all due to the sacrifices of the Second World War generation to whom we owe so much
