I have my late fathers diary . He embarked on Sunday 9th September 1945 .ship was the EKMA B.I. They sailed for Madras in convoy but had to get through a minefield that stretched to penang.
arrive Madras sunday 16 th .
looks as if he changed ship to the Decca Queen ? and then again to the Carthage , 15,000 ton P&O . Suez on the 5th october !!
