Walkers and Arrowsmiths in and around Thorpe Thewles.

Hi

I am reseaching ancestors who lived in Thorpe Thewles during the C19th. The surnames I am interested in are Walker And Arrowsmith. Todate I have the following information;

Thomas Arrowsmith Born 1 Jun 1804 Sedgefield, Bur 24 July 1882 St James Grindon - Wife Elizabeth Johnson Born 1806 Aycliffe Co Durham died 21 Feb 1880 Thorpe Thewles. Their Daughter Jane Arrowsmith Born 1845 Long Newton Married John Walker (born 26 Dec 1851 Norton On Tees) on 2 Feb 1877 Parish Church St James Grindon. They had two children - Emma Arrowsmith Walker, born 20 Nov 1876 Norton and died 13 Mar 1880 Thorpe Thewles, plus Ralph Arrowsmith Walker born 11 Sep 1881 Thorpe Thewles.

I am descend from John Walker's Brother - Robinson Walker, Born 21 Oct 1838 Norton On Tees, Robinson Walker was a Bricklayer and incidently helped build the Viaduct At Thorpe Thewles which is now sadly gone.

Can anyone help me add to the information listed above? If so please post reply on the forum.

Kind Regards

Dave
