Robin Hood Pond

An 1842 tithe award lists a "Robin Hood pond" in Thorpe Thewles. I would be glad to know if the pond still exists and if it is still known as Robin Hood Pond. Please read more about it at my website.

Does any forum member have a photo of the pond (or of the site if it no longer exists) that I might use for my site?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Robin Hood Pond

Bob Mullen, thank you very much for visiting the site of the pond and providing me with photos and information for my page on Robin Hood Pond at https://www.irhb.org/wiki/index.php/Robin_Hood_Pond_(Thorpe_Thewles) . I also wish to thank Paul Dunnill and any other members of Thorpe Thewles History Group who may have provided assistance. I am glad to hear our combined efforts have now brought this defunct place-name back to life. :-)
