As my Great Uncle Beauran O’Kane was the tail gunner on Mears plane and was lost with the crew. My family has been researching this flight for almost 30 years. We have had some amazing discoveries over the last few months and have located the crash location of the plane after 73 years and have contacted Project Recover for possibly locating and recovery of this flight.
You contacted my Father in 2002 and supplied my family the first pictures we had ever seen and personal accounts of this day. Now it’s time for me to return the favor.
