Goosebery bushes take two to three years to fruit, so a divided plant may well take the same time.

The food for producing flowers is tomato feed, so try that. It's high in potassium.

Strangely, I can't remember ever seeing a gooseberry bloom /flower. I have a Hinomaki Red in my garden and they produce stunning gooseberries an so many. Good luck.
