Used Potato soil

Hi, I have for the first time grown some potatoes in containers. Having now harvested them I have a large quantity of once used (potato) compost. Can you advise if I may use this for container growing of any shrubs and flowers. I would not use for potatoes or tomatoes. but buy new compost for next year. However having many large shrubs, I could use this soil for repotting if okay?
Thank you

Re: Used Potato soil

I wouldn't use it for repotting. Some "flowers" are also of the potato / tomato family. But I would use the compost on the soil to condition it as long as the potatoes were not diseased.
