Tomato plant temperature

What is the top temperature your greenhouse should be at for growing tomato plants provided you provide plenty of water?

Re: Tomato plant temperature

The best temperature is probably around 27°C, I'm not sure exactly at what point the heat will start to damage the plants or stop them growing.

But the the rule is to open all the ventilation in the greenhouse when the inside temperature reaches about 22°C. Having done that there's not much else that can be done. If the temperature reached 30°C, I would try and mist the plants once or twice a day.

Re: Tomato plant temperature

keep the temp quite high if you can to avoid botritis
