Flea beetles

I have what I think are flea beetles on my carrots, they are very small brown insects dotted around the leaves. What is the best way to get rid of them without using chemicals or is it best to leave them?

Re: Flea beetles

I'd leave them. Normally healthy plants grow "through" an attack of flea beetle. I wouldn't use any chemicals which will get rid of them. One of the chemicals, a type of derris, is banned from October 2009 on. That reminds me to go through the site and remove any references to it!

Re: Flea beetles

Thanks for that.
By the way,the picture of the hinged raised beds are in fact the sides from pallets, I use a larger one myself and it works very well indeed.
