When transplanting and digging up rhurbarb, do you let the rhubarb roots dry out first or transplant immediately. I've got conflicting reports on this subject.
Last year I dug up the rhubarb in Novemeber and chucked it to one side. My friend asked in December if she could use the roots. She did use them, and they are fine now. So a month out of the ground is OK.
