I have just harvested my first crop of basket grown potatoes and was disappointed to only get about 3 kilos from 6 plants (Aran Pilot). I have looked on the net and it seems that i didn't water enough or feed correctly. My ambition was for my spuds on the table Christmas day with home grown(but frozen beans). I am now going to have another go this weekend with some comfrey leaves in the bottom of the baskets and hopefully will have a crop of some kind for Christmas
