We have a pretty big allotment site and have had rabbit problems. Because of this we have rabbit netting around 3 good sized beds. For good measure (as we suspect birds eat things too) we have bird netting over the beds secured at the base of the wire.
However, our beans (runner and french) are being eaten/ damaged by a mystery creature. The leaves are not eaten, but clipped off at the stem. They are then left untouched on the ground. I am not sure what is doing this and therefore we can do to protect them - any ideas out there?
We gave up on being organic when it became clear it was a one sided fight so are open to any suggestions!!
