Our garden boundary is lined with Laurel Bushes and the beds gol up to the bushes. The problem is any plant that is within two feet always tries to lean away from it and doesnt grow upright!
The sun shines on that side of the bed from about 10am until evening, so its not as if the plants are looking for the sun.
Does anyone know if this can be got over other than to leave the bed bear?
By the way i have the same problem with My Cosmos they are growing rather Leggy from seeds any easy answers would be welcome
The problem is that laurel bush is preventing the sun from getting to the plant from one side. The plants prefer both sides to be open to light. They are growing towards the major source of sunlight which is away from the laurels.
