Are there any veggie plants that can grow in slight shade

Does anyone know if there are any type of vegetable plants that can grow in very slight shade?.

Cheers! mapita.

Hi Mapita,

Yes there are some. Brussels Sprouts actually do well in partial shade. Maincrop (not early) carrots will produce a crop in partial shade as do pasnips. Peas are another veg that tolerate partial shade. Radish and rhubarb are aslo definitely worth a try.
