Hi, we just found out that sticking a cut off piece of a blackberry bush in the hole can slow them down. Apparently the moles do not have a blood coagulating factor and they hit into the thorns and bleed to death... (sad, Oh well!) We have had some luck , best so far from other things... treating for cranefly helps, and the healthier your lawn the less likely they will come. have fun - p.s. get a few cats
