Hey, which parts of the apple serve as the placenta, ovary, etc.?

Re: Apple anatomy

Interesting question! Apples don't have placenta or ovaries. An apple has at its center some seeds which are ready to grow. When the apple falls to the gound the seed takes moisture and gooodness from the apple flesh, I think by a process of absoption. The apple flesh provides exactly the correct conditions for the apple seed to grow and set down roots.
