Yes, they should flower in the second season (like all brassicas) and set seed which can be harvested in the autumn.

Sometimes plants do not make viable seed if they are in a climate different from their natural one. In East Anglia there are large areas of Corsican Pine and although they bear cones there are no viable seed.

Anyhow, I wish you luck and hope your swedes set viable seed.

Does also say sow in "fall" though and I sown mine a bit earlier than that.

Thanks all. I ordered some seeds from the UK. Hopefully they will slip past customs and I can grow some more of this amazing veg!
