My young parsley plants have each developed a thick, strong central stem. Both curly and flat leaved varieties have done this. The plants are this spring's sowings.
Should they have these thick central stems?
Should I remove the stems?
They look as if they might be flowering stems, but I wouldn't expect flowers until next year.
Could you advise, please?
Thanks very much.
