REP. WILEY CONTACTED ME LAST NIGHT TO ADVISE THAT SHE WILL NOT BE INTRODUCING ANY BILLS RELATING TO FOX PENS. SHE REQUESTED FURTEHER INPUT FROM JOE MCLEASE OF THE N.C. SPORTING DOGS ASSOCIATION, AND IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT HE INTENDS TO HAVE HER TOUR A PEN.

WHILE THIS IS OBVIOUSLY GOOD NEWS,DO NOT THINK THIS IS THE END.OTHER REPS. WILL SURELY BE APPROACHED BY THE FOLKS AGAINST US.WE MUST STAY VIGILANT!!

THE FOLKS WHO GOT INVOLVED WITH E-MAILS AND CALLS DESERVE THANKS.

FINALLY,THIS IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF WORKING WITHIN THE SYSTEM TO PROMOTE OUR SPORT.WE GOTTA KEEP IT UP.

To all the NC HOUNDSMAN!! Congrats on your coordinated efforts to defeat this bill! It shows how folks can come together,work for a common goal, and have your voice heard!!
Also, this lady could become an ally in your efforts if given the right information & education about what foxhunters,field trialers, and hunt clubs do to support their communities; as well as the ecomnomic impact, and how these pens are actually run. Not what the "AR's" want people to believe!!
