The Johnson's Telemetry/Hunter's Horn 2017 All American Running Hound Classic is 38 days out, and is shaping up to be a great one. Reports from United Fox Preserve indicate that it should be in fine shape for the field trial. I have had several calls/texts from hunters looking for information. Our sponsors have really looked out for us and we should have an epic raffle at the banquet and quite a bit to give out to the placing hounds.
The schedule of events will be as follows:
Saturday Feb. 11 - The 2017 Native Dog Supply All American Entry Room will open at 8am. It will be located in the clubhouse at
United Fox Preserve near Swainsboro, GA. A sign in book will be placed outside the clubhouse around 6am.
Please sign in on arrival and we will begin calling the hunters in at 8. Please note that there are no reserved
numbers, all will drawn at random. Entries will close at 4pm.
Sunday Feb. 12 - Numbers can be drawn and entries taken starting at 9am and will close at 1pm.
There will be a directors meeting at the preserve in the clubhouse at 2pm.
The 2017 Specialty Feeds All American Banquet will be held at the Swainsboro Country Club at 6pm. Please
make plans on attending. An excellent meal is planned, it will be catered by Big Tim's Grill from VA. We will
have card drawings and a raffle with many quality prizes. Additionally the AN Nichols Lifetime Acheivement
and Walter Folsom Judging Award will be presented. Should be a great opportunity for fun and fellowship.
Monday Feb. 13 - cast hound at daybreak
Tuesday Feb 14 - cast hound at daybreak
Wednesday Feb 15 - cast hounds at daybreak. The Top 15% will be announced ASAP after conclusion of the days cast.
Thursday Feb. 16 - Rest Day. The 2017 Pride Dog Food/Showtime Dog Food All American Bench Show will be held at 3pm at
the preserve. Judge will be Mr. Larry Rouse from NC assisted by Mr. Jimmy Marshall from VA.
Friday Feb. 17 - Final days cast. Top 15% cast at daybreak. Champion to be crowned ASAP at conclusion of hunt.
As of now there are 39 highly qualified judges confirmed to attend. Your hounds will get a good look.
