I just got a call from John's grandson that John has won his final chase this morning and is now setting around the campfire with the Master of Hounds in heaven.
I got to know John many years ago and even sold him a hound or two over the years, he was a great friend and hounds man.
He owned a lot of good hounds and when his health was good in his younger years, I think he said he hunted/ran hounds in 15 States.
As his Grandson told me, "We have an Angle watching over us running now".
