Well said Michael! I have been a houndsman all of my life and it is the greatest joy to hear dogs running. For someone who is not a houndsman, there is no way to explain it. I am 47 years old and this is the first year since I was 12 that I did not kill a dear, this is because of severe ankle pain, and I still had a great year just being able to go and hear the roar of the dogs. As long as I can hear a good race, I don't care if I kill another dear the rest of my life! I love to look at my two youngest children and see the same excitement when we go dog hunting as I had as a child with my daddy and granddaddy! Thank you Lord for this great blessing!
